OOTD: Mickey Midi!

Another OOTD I must be on some kind of roll or something! This is what I wore for a day of tidying the flat's spare room for Jon's new flatmate since I'm moving out, then heading down the dump (v. glamorous!) and finally a spot of food shopping.

I received this dress for my birthday from the boyf and I am so excited and pleased by it! It was nice and cool so perfect for the super warm and muggy day it was and I kept accessories minimal because of the heat too.

OOTD: Park Life

I had a super amazing birthday weekend and my next post will be a really long one with lots of photos of partying and pressies.

But this is what I wore for a walk in the park this afternoon, can't believe how warm it was- lovely :D
I am currently in the process of packing all of my stuff up in Northampton to move home, I'm pretty sad about leaving after 4 years of uni and as I live with the boyf. But I am excited to start applying for jobs/internships and living at home and being fed by the mumma!

OOTD: Hometime

This evening I am going home to celebrate my birthday in style (probably!). On Friday we are going out in London for the Bangface Boat Party & then on Sunday me and many friends will be attending Hackney Weekend (in the rain most likey boo!) I'm very excited otherwise :D

Anywho this is what I'm wearing today for the drive home. Except once I saw the rain out of the window I immediately put on tights instead. Boo rain again!

Hopefully I'll have some half decent outfit photos from my birthday weekend/Monday and then of course the obligatory ones of me weeping into my cake about being another year older.

Birthday Wishlist!

It's one week to my 23rd (sadface) birthday today and I've had some real trouble thinking up what I want this year. But what started off as a tiny somehow culminated into a huuuuuge wish list! So I decided to share some of my faves with you guys:

1. White Converse- £42 Available from ASOS.

I haven't had a pair of Converse since I was about 17 and I think it's time to be reunited with these versatile shoes!

2. ASOS Spiked Pastel Bracelets- £8 each

A combination of two trends- pastels & grungy spikes- Perfect!

3. Urban Decay Brow Box- £17 & De-Slick Control Makeup Fix- £23 Available from Debenhams.

I can't usually afford expensive makeup so getting some for my birthday is always good.

I've had a recent obsession with my eyebrows so a brow box is perfect! And I'm obsessed with keeping a matte makeup face!

4. Long Clothing Fox T-Shirt- £35

I've been wanting a Long t-shirt for longtime (sorry bad pun!) but I can't decided between a black or white one...

5. ASOS Bodycon Mickey Mouse Print Dress- £15

Perfect midi length & funtime print. Oh and I already know it will go great with those Converse I want :P

6. Hot Diamonds Chops Away Silver & Rose Gold Necklace- £75

My name is Bacon, this necklace features a flying pig. A coincidence? I think not.

7. ZARA Leather Jacket- £149

I have never ever ever owned a leather jacket & I think it's about time that changed. And this ZARA one was just screaming out at me.

Well this list has definitely got me in the mood for my birthday and birthday treats! Hopefully I'll get a couple of the cheaper options from my list (I think the leather jacket is asking for a little too much!).

OOTD- a day at the polo!

On Saturday I had the chance the Jack Wills Varsity Polo event in Windsor. As my friend, Hannah, works for the events company that put it all on I got to go for free- woo! It started at 10am and there were 3 Polo games (Eton v Harrow, Yale v Harvard and Cambridge v Oxford). We didn't get there till about half 3 so we only watched the Cambridge and Oxford game but it was super impressive! Kinda sad that Polo is such an upper class game because it's actually really fun to watch and looks crazy to play!

I had to buy some flip-flops after my feet overheated in my creepers! (We thought it was going to rain!)

As well as the polo there was an acoustic stage and a DJ tent! We watch an acoustic guy called Frank Hamilton who I really enjoyed and will defiantly be keeping an eye on! Then we got to watch Scratch Perverts, (I always enjoy them) and then a little bit of Caspa before we had to leave to make sure we got the last train home!

OOTD: tribal denim

Just a bog standard outfit post today. I'm at home for uber long bank holiday weekend. Going out with friends tonight and then heading to the village Jubilee party tomorrow- the joys of living in a tiny village! I'm dreading all the life questions, e.g. "So what are you going to do now you have finished university?" "Hows the boyfriend? Wedding bells anytime soon?" "Didn't you want to be a teacher...?"
I'm 22! I just want to go out and get pissed and bum around all the time, not think about this life thing. Thanks very much.

I was pretty chuffed when I found this evil eye bracelet at the back of a drawer when I was cleaning out yesterday. Obviously I was predicting the current trend of eye jewellery back when I was 6 or 7!

I got my cycling shorts from at a Canadian American Apparel sale for the equivalent of £5- boom! Also so sad my moccasins are breaking :'( You can just see my toe poking through, sadtimes.

P.S. Does anyone have any cures, remedies or advice for very bad nails?! My are soooo bendy and break and peel allllll the time. I don't know what to do :( Any advice would be super-duper appreciated.
