OOTD: Little Red Riding Hood

Bonjourrrrr!

Been away for a bit, but here's what I wore to work the other day. It's been really cold, but I really wanted to wear my crazy tartan shawl thing, so I wrapped it around my leather jacket and it worked our pretty well.

Shawl - Next (last year)    Leather Jacket - Topshop (last year)    Dress - Monki (last year)    Chunky Boots - Topshop £38

What have people been up to? I've been superrrrrrr busy at work, preparing for so many meetings for AW14, but lots of fun!

Movember Movember!

Since it is the month of Movember I thought I'd decided to do a moustache themed post with all my favourite tache things I have found and lusted after!

I'm sure everyone already knows what Movember is about and the causes it supports so I'll just get straight into the goodies! But if you do want to know more: Click here for the official Movember page to donate etc.

I literally don't think I've seen a better mug. IT HAS SPACE FOR YOUR BISCUITS! Need I say more?!

2. Moustache Doormat- Next- £12
If this was on my doorstep, even the worst day at work would be cured just by wiping my muddy shoes on the mat. I imagine anyway :)

3. Moustache Phone Case- Ebay- £1.99
A total moustache bargin to show your support to the Movember cause, and I have a little giggle to myself every time I read it.

A t-shirt to showcase all the moustaches of the world! I love Tee & Cake clothes too, so comfy. My fave is Mexico!

Finally a classic moustache accessory. Always a winner and I think looks beaut in just gold.

Hope you liked the moustache themed post (I'm sure there are plenty other better ones out there!
Have you brought/worn anything tache themed for this month? Or do you just wear lip tickler things all year round?!

P.S. Here's one last crazy but AMAZING moustache themed piece that I really want! But alas I cannot justify the price.

OOTD: Big Night Out!

On Saturday it was one of my best friends Becca's 24th Birthday Night Out, we were all quite excited as every year for her birthday we always seem to end up going to one of our old pre-university haunts, and this year was no exception. The nearby town Hertford was our destination, when we were 18 we all used to head there on a Thursday night, have a wicked time and then have to go to school horribly hungover on Friday!

Now we are older we have upgraded to Saturday nights (over 21's only!) and it was nice to be out without lots of young'uns and there wasn't the chance an 18 year old might try and chat you up!

Here's what I wore:
Top- Next (old)    Bralet- Marks & Spencers (old)    Skirt- Ebay £11.99    Socks- Topshop £3.50    Creepers- Underground £89

We tied up my top into a crop top because tucked in it kept bulging out and annoying me so much, thanks to Hannah for helping me with this genius idea!

Standard going out makeup for me- Flicks on the eyelids, silver eyeliner around the corners and lashings of black mascara!
I used Collection 2000 Cream Puff Lip Colour on my lips, I love it so much. I swear I use it on every night out I go on. It just lasts so long and I have a tiny obsession with things looking matte haha!
The Birthday Girl and Me!

Becca The Birthday Girl, Me and Kay

We had a hilarious night and it was topped off by a trip to our old favourite kebab shop Mid-West for some dirty food!

Hope you all had fab weekends (and start to the week!)

Booby Baskets!

Love them or hate them, most girls wear them. Yep I'm talking about the brassiere, the bra, over the shoulder boulder holders and booby baskets or whatever you call them!
I definitely have a volatile relationship with bras, one minute I want the ultimate push up bra to emphasise them and then the next I am proud to say I have little booby-linas!

I decided to check out the Next website to check out what they had on offer in the bra department. My 3/4 faves go from ultra comfy basic bras to the ultimate pushup ones!

1. Pink & Blue Spot Mesh Underwired Two Pack- £16
Excellent value for money and pretty too, what more do you want?!

I love longline bras. I like how they are a bit different from regular bras and this print is lurrrvly.

I immediately liked this bandeau bra because its so much nicer than all the boring plain ones you usually see in shops. And it has a 5 Star review from buyers saying it gives excellent lift even without straps!

If you are going to get an amazing push up bra, you might as well go the whole hog and get one that will get "OMG" reactions!

Most of these bras come with matching pants too which is always an added bonus ;)

Colour Pop Jeans!

Recently there has been an explosion of brightly coloured jeans covering the catwalks and streets and I have to be honest I wasn't all that keen to begin with, but as with most things with me, the more I see them more I like them (it was the same with denim shirts and crop-tops)! So I am now on a mission to find the perfect pair of coloured jeans.

The Christmas just gone I was kindly given a voucher for Next and as I haven't spent it yet, I thought what better place to start looking for that elusive pair of jeans than there! And I was pleasantly surprised at what I saw when I got there. With a special section just for coloured jeans it was easy to find some I liked and there were quite a few.

First are the more subtle coloured Zip Pocket Skinny Jeans, coming in Pink, Red and Jade at a very reasonable £24.

Next come the candy popping colours of the Coloured Skinny Jeans, still very reasonably priced at £26.

All of the jeans go from size 6-18, are available in the petite and tall ranges and come in regular, long and extra long length, now you can't really ask more than that!

Now at first I was drawn to the more, shall we say gentle colours of the first three pairs, especially the jade ones but that bright blue pair keep calling to me...
So now I'm torn! What do you guys think? Understated jade or attention-grabbing blue?
