Sunday was absolutely glorious! And at the flat we went and brought a BBQ from Morrisons for 20 squid and lots of tasty stuff to eat and we were set (after we built BBQ haha).

OOTD: Birthday Business in Brighton!

A couple weekends a go we headed down to Brighton to help our friend Sarah celebrate her 24th birthday. I love going to Brighton it's always really fun and if you go to the non-commercial clubs (I'm looking at you Oceana!) then you might be surprised at how good the independent clubs are.

For dinner we went to Donatello's that is an ace Italian restaurant that's really cheap too, I had tagliatelle with spinach and bacon in an amazing sauce. I'm not usually a pasta person, but this was so gooooooooood. After we went to our fave bar that we ALWAYS go to, called The Mesmerist, it's like a 1940s bar with the best cocktails. And then we went to a club called The Tube which is right on the seafront and under the arches- great success!
I don't usually shop at Wallis, but I really like this shirt, it's like a sheer material with a gold paisley print on it. It's pretty loose fitting which looks good leggings/jeans etc, but I tied a knot in the front so you could see my sparkly shorts :P

Has anyone else been out in Brighton? Where do you like to go? I'd love to try new places where I'm there next :D

OOTD: Nottingham Night Out

A couple weeks ago me and some friends went up to Nottingham to help celebrate one of their little sister's 20th birthday.

On the way up we stopped off at OK Diner on the A1 and I had the most amazing peanut butter and chocolate milkshake, it was insanely delicious. If you ever need a pitstop driving on the A1 then I highly recommend it.
While in Nottingham I did a tiny bit of shopping at local vintage/charity shop, where I got a quilted coat originally from River Island for £8!!! And the crazy 80's shirt I am wearing for £4.
It was a really fun night, including running around the club raging, lots of crazy dancing and general drunk antics! RL Grime was playing and was ridiculously good, hence the dancing (which hopefully burned off all the alcohol calories haha).

Shirt- Charity/Vintage Shop £4    CropTop- Sparkle & Fade £16    Shorts- Ragged Priest £20ish    Bag- Vintage £4   Creepers- Underground £89
My new friend ;)
Peter the cat who just seemed to like living at their house even though it didn't really live there!

Two posts in one week I must be having a very good week! I'll try to keep up the good work :P

OOTD: leather & flatforms

This is an outfit I wore to the pub the other evening, pretty simple really! I got the leather jacket for Christmas which I was really chuffed about :) Well actually I got it in the Boxing Day sales after Christmas because I couldn't decide on a leather jacket before Christmas! But it was lucky really since it was half the price in the sales, so better for the 'rents :P

And I'm wearing jeans! Who would have thunk it, I hardly ever ever wear jeans, but this pair from New Look are my new favourites, not that I had a pair of favourite jeans before...

Oh and the flatform converses were from the Boxing Day sales too, so glad I didn't buy a pair before, otherwise I would have spent double on them.

Leather Jacket- Topshop Boutique £90 (down from £180)    Shirt- Urban Outfitters (old)    Jeans- New Look £19.99(I think they are on sale atm)    Flatform Converse- Schuh £16 (down from £32)
iPhone Case- ebay £5 (I think)

Just another view of the shoes, yum.

That's about it at the moment! Been really bust at work, but hopefully I can post some work outfits up soon (they have really good full length mirrors, perfect for outfit shots haha).

OOTD: Fright Night!

I'm back, I'm back!
Sorry for being away for so long, I really don't have a good excuse except that I'm lazy! Also the lack of sun and dark mornings and evenings is making it near impossible for me to take half decent outfit photos, but I promise to try harder, ok? :)

I thought I would get this week off to a scary start by sharing my Halloween outfit from a party I went to at the weekend. Somehow I have managed to leave all of my fancy dress back at the flat in Northampton, so it was a bit of a rush job with my costume, but I think I did a good job considering I only spent £2.75 on some white face paint haha!

To be honest doing the makeup was really easy even though it wasn't perfect, all I brought was the white face paint from a local fancy dress shop and then used all my own makeup for the rest, e.g. black eyeliner, purple eyeliner, pink eyeshadow and pink lipstick! And luckily I had my skeleton top already so that was a simple choice for the outfit! So it was all really cheap :D

My very rushed and not practiced Sugar Skull makeup haha!

What I wore: Top- Truly Madly Deeply, Urban Outfitters    Skirt- Ebay    Tights- Henry Holland    Creepers- Underground

Me & Superwoman (Hannah)!

Me & a male nun (Sam)!
Lovely Ladies!
'Jimmy Saville' and nun haha!

Final one of me ;)
Hope you all had a great weekend, anyone else go to a Halloween party? What did you go as?

Mini Little Haul ;)

Oh shopping why are you so tempting, even when I have NO MONEY WHATSOEVER! You still get me to buy something, even if is only a £1.99 lipliner that I'm not even sure how to use!

This morning after my lecture I came back home to my parcel from Urban Outfitters- Yay! I brought 3 things, a cute little rug for my bedroom (£8 in the sale):

Uber cool earrings! (£8):

And this B-E-A-utiful shirt made by Silence + Noise (£42):
I'll be doing an outfit post with this shirt VERY soon! Tomorrow in fact, I love it sooooo much!

In addition to these little bits, myself and the boyf went into town as he needed a new bag for work, so it would have been rude of me not to pick up a few bits and bobs for myself ;)

As I said before I brought a lipliner from Collection 2000 (£1.99):
It's called Marshmellow and seems like a lovely soft pink. I decided to get a lipliner as my lipstick has a tendency to fade and feather so hopefully this will help to reduce this! I got a light coloured one as I thought it would be more versatile than a really dark one, so hopefully I can use it with a few of my lippys.

I have been wanting to get a lip-stain for a little while now and decided to get Rimmel 1000 Kisses (£5.99):
It's colour is Perpetual Plum, a really nice purple-y pink colour and has a lip balm on it as well. (I might do a review on this at a later date, see how long it actually lasts on a day :P)

Little Swatch of the colours:

Oh and how could I forgot! Me and the boyf went to a local cheese shop and brought cheeeeeese! NomNomNom! Can't wait to get those bad boys on some crackers with a bit of chutney!

Have any of you been shopping recently? Even when you have less than adequate funds like me? Hehe!
